Sales and City to Surf Hero
We’ve got lots of fitness freaks at Promax but we’re very proud of our Sales hero extraordinaire Tim Williamson’s efforts at the Sydney 2010 City to Surf.
The Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac is 14km in distance and is one of the most famous and gruelling events in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia. The race starts from the intersection of Park and College Sts in Sydney’s CBD before heading up William St and through the tunnel at Kings Cross. The course continues along New South Head Rd through Rose Bay, then up “Heartbreak Hill” (the halfway point) and also the toughest part of the course. The course then turns the corner at Dover Heights into Old South Head Rd, left into Military Rd and then down the hill to the finish at Australia’s most famous and spectacular Bondi Beach. The City2Surf finish line is located on Queen Elizabeth Dr at the southern end of Bondi Pavilion.

Tim’s sensational results of 01.10.06 (1 Hour, 10 minutes and 6 seconds) representing Place # 4317 out of 80,000 entrants are shown in the certificate and whilst we don’t have a photo of him in all his glory at the race, here he is looking his casual best!
