Why I love Promax: The work is challenging and interesting, I get to spend a day in the company of friends, and I usually finish a day with a sense of having helped make a client’s day a little easier.

Why Promax will own the world: I think our best advantage is our working environment. We’ll attract the best people because they’ll want to work here – small company atmosphere with a world class product.

The great thing about working at Promax is seeing the rapid growth and evolution of both the global client base and the software functionality. It’s also a fun and friendly place to be.

Being a developer, I love Promax for the challenges. Every day brings new challenges and to see them resolved is not only rewarding but somewhat likened to the slaying of dragons in protecting the villagers, that being our Promax users

Seriously though, strategically the finished manufactured Consumer Goods industry that Promax resides in is a booming area full of growth and prospect. Being part of Promax during this growth period is exciting as we are well positioned globally to leap frog to the head of the pack. At the end of the day manufactures make, consumers consume and in the middle is Promax.

Last but not least are the Promax people, the Promax Family if you could say. The friends, colleagues and genuine down to earth folks make working at Promax one of the best Software Vendors I know.

Now this is a story all about how my career got flipped, turned upside down. So I’d like to take a minute, just sit down Jax, I’ll tell you how I became the king of internationalization at Promax. But now I’m out of space (only had 50 words or less), so I can’t.

Promax is an Australian owned company. Promotes internal promotion and is willing to invest in my training.

Interesting stories of your time here

At the Christmas party golf day when I hit a 70 yard chip for my first eagle. Driving home one day to find Laurence pushing his motorbike to the petrol station because he ran out of fuel.

Why I love Promax in Haiku form:

Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 moras, in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 moras respectively. Haiku typically contain a kigo (seasonal reference), and a kireji (cutting word). In Japanese, haiku are traditionally printed in a single vertical line, while haiku in English usually appear in three lines, to parallel the three phrases of Japanese haiku.[3] Previously called hokku, haiku was given its current name by the Japanese writer Masaoka Shiki at the end of the 19th century.

Why I love Promax?

It is a fun, yet productive working environment. Everybody is part of the team and every role is important in making the business function as a well oiled machine. When you look at what have achieved so far, there is great deal of pride knowing that you have directly or indirectly been part of making the company what is today, and helped the company get to where it will be tomorrow.

They asked me if I’d share with you an insight good and bad,
On things related to my times here and the experiences that I’ve had.

For me it was easy, joining this happy cast,
You see I knew some of them already – from times now in the past.

The future’s bright and exciting they told me from the start,
I have to say I think they’re right and it’s good to be a part.

Was told TPO and TPM are acronyms that you’ll hear,
More TLAs than ever to learn whilst supping on my beer.

Since I’ve been here I got to visit HQ down in Nelson Bay.
What they didn’t tell me was a volcano was on it’s way!

A one week trip was what was planned to cover what I could,
Two weeks later I’m thinking- I knew I never should!

I spent my time with all the team – Marketing, Development and Support
Ash clouds and flight delays worked out better than I thought!

UK sales team we’re all busy spreading news of what we do,
From London up to Edinburgh. New opportunities? Yes we’ve got a few!

The reception to our message is fantastic without question,
But it is seeing the results the customers get that drives us with a passion.

If you’re considering whether life at Promax is for you,
Don’t be left behind wondering what ever should I do…

Go for it!

UK Sales Director (when I’m not writing silly rhymes)
