Training

Promax TrainingPromax provides a range of training courses including standard entry level training through to customer specific detailed training on process and system use. On completion of the workshop, the project team will have a clear understanding of the training requirements for each role and each phase of the project. A detailed training program will be included within the project plan.

Promax does recommend regular training sessions be conducted into the future to ensure skills and focus is accurate and current. Standard training sessions include;

  • Finance – Claims, accrual management and month end processes
  • Sales user training
  • Demand and forecasting training
  • Category Management and Authorisation training
  • Administrator training
  • Reporting and analysis training
  • Separate training sessions covering predict and optimise modules detailed below under other consulting services.

USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING & TRAINING (UAT)

The objective of this phase is to train and support client to enable them to complete the following key internal testing requirements;

  • End to End scenario testing of system functionality
  • End to End testing of “TO BE” processes
  • Hardware and infrastructure stress testing

Deliverables, complete and accurate documentation of testing scenarios including actions/resolutions and re-test details reported (Templates only provided by Promax)

The training phase is approached in a process orientated methodology. Training sessions are targeted to specific user roles and are end to end process orientated. For example for a Sales Person or Account Manager, instead of training everything for two days and then allowing the following week to complete live data entry;

  • Sales user session 1 – Base Line Management – (1/2 Day training, 1 1/2 days immediately after to complete live load.
  • Sales user session 2 – Promotional management – (1 Day training, 3 days immediately after to complete live load)
  • Sales user session 3 – Reporting and analysis – (1/2 Day training, 1/2 day review live data, full year forecasts etc.)

Deliverables:  Training documentation will be provided in line with standard system functionality and best practice process approaches. All live data entered into the production database.

Training on-site

Promax provides on site training courses; Our training courses are structured as follows:

  • Each course is broken down into logical lessons.
  • The trainer will go through a PowerPoint presentation for each lesson and software demonstration of the topic. Users will then complete the exercises from the training manual as specified in the PowerPoint presentation.
  • Each lesson has questions based on frequently asked support questions which are completed individually and then reviewed as a group before the next lesson commences.
  • Training manuals are provided with space to write notes, and answer review questions.
