Analytics & Reporting

Financial Management Reporting

Promax provides full P&L analysis on promotional effectiveness and full visibility of accruals, paid claims and disputed claims. The modern, open database architecture and reporting capability in Promax makes tracking and reporting the financial status of funds related to promotional plans an easy and simple process.

Promotional Lift Results

Promax gives companies the ability to determine not only actual promotional lift, but also the full detailed cost of that lift and its impact on trading partners.

Customer Profitability

Promax not only provides analysis and management of each detailed promotion and will also enable users to evaluate the entire promotional program by Customer. This provides a very powerful analysis of investment and return by a range of parameters such as customer, brand, category or region. Promax reporting can mix planned and actual period data to predict end of year results literally as you end promotions. This gives an up-to-the-minute view of product profitability by customer as results arrive or new plans are created.

Consumer Impact

Promotions are generally undertaken with the intention of driving an increase in consumer sales. Typically, the manufacturer will sell their products to retailers at a discount to help fund the promotion. This discounting is of no benefit if there are no additional sales as a result of the promotion. Promax delivers key information for Brand Managers who want to understand:

  • What is the level of sales lift during the promotional period?
  • Has the promotion created a long-term impact on base-line consumer sales?

Through use of Scan data, Promax is able to provide analysis to understand the consumer purchasing in relation to the promotion. This includes analysing the effectiveness of the promotion including the responsiveness of consumers to a promotions, the influence of the length of the promotion on promotions effectiveness etc.
